About us

Lonan Global was created by two ambitious and aspiring young men: Barry, an experienced business professional and Bamba, an IT and social media expert. The word "lonan" which comes from the Dioula language spoken in Ivory Coast means "tourist". The name was given by one of the creators of the site, Bamba.

How we got started?

While driving around New York City one day, Barry was describing his experiences with traveling around the world to Bamba. Barry had been to Europe, Africa and other states in the U.S. Barry explained how he often had trouble during his visits to some countries because no one was there to help him navigate these places. Seeing this problem encountered by Barry, Bamba had the idea of creating a platform like Facebook, but rather for guides and tourists around the world.

Lonan Global, LLC intends to become the world's premier tourist site by helping tourists select their next destination and helping them thoroughly enjoy their experience. Lonan Global can help tourist with the selection and booking of guides, transportation and attractions. Lonan Global intends to become THE destination for travel information and services.
