Click forgot password/username to reset your password/username.

How can I book a tour guide?

Book any tour guide by going to their profile and sending them a message. You’ll be able to see the services offered, their rates, and their availability. 

How do I pay a tour guide for their services?

You can pay a tour guide directly for their services with cash, a debit/credit card or PayPal.

Can I be refunded if I am not satisfied with Lonan Global services as a tourist?

Reach out to your guide directly to request a refund. If you are unable to resolve the issue with your guide, please reach out to Lonan in order for us to investigate the situation. Reach out with your concerns at lonanglobal@gmail.com

Is there an option to tip my guide ?

No, but you are welcome to tip tour guides directly during or after any service. 

 

Can guides rate me?

No, guide cannot rate tourists. 

Can a tourist rate a guide ?

Yes, a tourist can go to a guide’s profile to see their curent rating and leave a review as well.  

How do I become a tour guide?

You need legal identification and prior experience as a tour guide. Next you’ll create an account and signup as a tour guide. After a brief review of your information, Lonan will let you know when you can start giving tours. 

How much can I earn as a guide?

You set your rates and there are no limits to how much you can earn. 

Does Lonan take a percentage of my earnings ?

Lonan does not take a percentage from your direct earnings, however guides must purchase a subscription plan in order to be an active tour guide on the Lonan platform. 

What is the difference between a basic subscription and a premium subscription?

A basic membership is free however guidehave limited access within the app. Guides are able to view profiles and accounts but cannot communicate with tourists. With a premium membership, guides will have wider exposure and the full ability to communicate with any tourist.  What are the premium membership fees? Fees are based on the length of the subscription. Why can't I as a tour guide message the tourist first or reply to a message from a tourist ?

You must have a subscription first in order to message a tourist. 

How can I activate my membership?

Under the menu, select “Payment” and add a payment method. Select the plan you want and click on “upgrade plan.”

What rating must I keep up if I want to continue being a tour guide for Lonan ?

You must have a 4.0 rating or higher to remain an active tour guide

How can I publish an event?

Go to “My Events” tab and select add an event. Enter events details and save. Your event will then be posted to your feed. 

Do I have to pay to post my events?

It is free to post events for a limited time. Generally, there’s a small fee to post an event.
